A man is sentenced for rape of a woman who lived in a nursing home in Eskilstuna where the man worked, reports P4 Sörmland.
The crime was committed in September 2023.
According to the verdict, the rape took place in connection with the woman being showered. She was also, due to her illness, in a particularly vulnerable situation, which the healthcare employee exploited according to the court.
The man is sentenced to prison for three years and six months and will also pay 240,000 kronor in damages.
Similar suspicions have previously existed against the man but have not resulted in any police report.
