Pub Apologizes for Insulting Customer Again on Facebook

It was last week that the restaurant on Gotland made the note on the woman's receipt when she ordered food for her family. The woman's son discovered the words, written down so that the staff would find her when the food was ready.

When the woman pointed out the description, she received an apology and the family was treated to the food. Now the restaurant has issued a public apology on Facebook, reports Helagotland.

”One of our employees called an overweight woman fat”, it says in the post, where they assure that it will not happen again – and add that they have the island's best hamburgers.

It feels more like they are apologizing for themselves when they write that I am overweight, as if it's okay to call me fat then, says the woman to Helagotland.

The restaurant has now removed the word ”overweight” from its post, according to the newspaper.
