It started with a colleague finding a handgun in the manager's office. The colleague alerted the police, who during a search of the office found another handgun – and more than 1,500 projectiles, that is, different types of ammunition.

Since the manager lacked a permit for the weapons, the police have launched an investigation into suspected weapons offenses, according to UNT.

The explanation for the incident is, according to the newspaper, that the manager had received ammunition from colleagues who did not have time to leave it in the storage room or to "be nice". The manager is also said to have planned to hand in the weapons to the police, but did not have time.

The incident has been reported to the Swedish Armed Forces' personnel committee. UNT writes that F16 wants it to be investigated whether the manager can be dismissed. The fact that the ammunition has been stored in the wrong way has meant a danger and major work environment risk for the manager and other employees.
