Andersson: No one earning under 70,000 kronor a month will face higher taxes

After the difficult years in which Swedish wages have fallen behind those in Europe, people need to have more money in their pockets, says the S leader.

The welfare initiatives that S is campaigning on - including shorter healthcare queues and increased child benefits - will not be financed with tax increases for "ordinary" people. Those with incomes of 70,000 kronor a month, however, will pay "a few hundred kronor" more in tax, and then it will increase.

In addition, we want to pursue an economic policy so that the economy grows and real wage increases can be achieved, says Andersson.
