Antonio Lindbäck is cleared of doping suspicions and can ride speedway again. The 39-year-old announces this himself on social media.
"The wait is over. Today, I received the message from Wada. I can ride again!", writes Lindbäck, who rides for Allsvenska Valsarna.
This is a message that comes too late. Of course, he is cleared, but the next step is that Swemo must put him back in the system. I am happy and relieved for Antonio's sake that we can now put everything aside, but I am all the more angry with Anti-Doping Sweden and Wada that it took so long. The test was taken in May and we all know what date it is now, says Valsarna's team leader Stewe Lennartsson to Värmlands Folkblad.
This kind of thing must go much, much faster!
