Häcken's team captain Simon Gustafson is suspended for an additional Allsvenskan match by the Swedish Football Association's disciplinary board.
It was in the match against Djurgården on July 27 that Gustafson received a red card after a push on the opposing team's Mikael Anderson when the ball was out of play.
A sending-off automatically means a one-match suspension, which Gustafson served in Häcken's loss to Elfsborg. But after the disciplinary board's decision, the midfielder will also miss Sunday's match against Degerfors away.
The suspension does not affect Gustafson in Häcken's Europa League match against Brann on Thursday.
Häcken is tenth in Allsvenskan.
