Today, ice hockey star Jesper Boqvist, who won the Stanley Cup with Florida Panthers, will be honored in his hometown Hedemora.
The idea was that he would bring the Stanley Cup trophy, but it got stuck in customs at Arlanda.
We'll see when it shows up.
You can't do much, just have to accept the situation, says Boqvist to Södra Dalarnes Tidning.
The celebration starts at the scheduled time at 1 pm despite the delay, says Mikael Gråbo, who is involved in arranging the event.
There are a lot of people here, so we're starting with candy rain and ice cream, says Gråbo, who "believes and hopes" that the trophy will arrive by 2 pm, to the newspaper.
