SHL club Linköping HC is changing its club emblem. This was decided during Monday evening's annual meeting. From the 2026–2027 season, the ice hockey club will abandon its current logo and return to the older, round version.
However, it will be adjusted slightly.
We are registered as Linköping Hockey Club. On the round logo, it says Linköpings Hockey Club, so the s will disappear immediately. Then, one might look at making some small twist to modernize the lion, but it will not be anything that is noticed much, says club director Carl-Johan Stålhammar to Östgöta Correspondenten.
LHC reached a quarterfinal spot on the women's side last season, while the men missed the playoffs.
