Janne Andersson himself got to meet Ove Kindvall on several occasions.

He was always a very sympathetic, nice and positive person, he says. Despite his greatness as a player, he was humble and took very little space.

He continues:

I traveled a lot during my time as national team manager and when I came to Rotterdam to see Feyenoord, everyone started talking about Ove. You understood that he was very big and that he had made enormous impressions.

Ove Kindvall was a pro in Dutch Feyenoord 1966–1971 where he decided the European Cup final in 1970 and won the World Championship for club teams the same year. He also shot Sweden to the World Championship 1970 and was awarded both the Bragdguldet and Guldbollen.

He is on the list of the greatest (Swedish players), says Janne Andersson. During this period, he was the big star.

He explains further:

He was quick and a very good goal scorer. A real match winner. But above all, he was incredibly sympathetic.

Ove Kindvall became 82 years old.
