According to the agreement with Hamas, the bodies will be returned on the 33rd day of the ceasefire – which falls on Thursday.

The individuals were killed while in Hamas captivity, according to the state-owned TV company Kan. The information has not yet been confirmed by the Israeli government.

On Saturday, three people are expected to be released, according to the ceasefire agreement.

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is now in its first phase, during which a total of 33 hostages will be released.

When phase one is over in a couple of weeks, approximately 60 more Israelis will remain as Hamas hostages. The idea is that they will be released in a new phase of the ceasefire, which will also pave the way for a more long-term calm in the Gaza Strip. But the circumstances for this have not yet been negotiated.
