We received an alarm about shooting at 00.20 and could quickly establish that a serious crime had occurred. Two people have been found shot in a vehicle, said Rebecca Landberg, press spokesperson at the Stockholm police, to TT earlier during the night.
The police have large resources on the scene and the area is cordoned off.
No one has been arrested and we are still searching with dogs and taking other investigative measures. We are checking cameras, witness statements and if there has been any taxi company that has had trips in the vicinity. We are also mapping the movement sequence temporally before the shooting, says Rebecca Landberg to TT.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into murder and serious weapons offenses.
