The growth rate for household loans is increasing slightly, according to new figures from SCB.
In annual terms, lending from so-called monetary financial institutions (including banks) increased by 0.7 percent in July compared to the same month a year earlier.
Mortgage loans account for 83 percent of total lending to households, while consumer loans account for 6 percent.
"Consumer loans showed a slightly weaker development in July compared to June, and the growth rate decreased from 3.5 to 2.0 percent," writes SCB.
The lending for mortgage loans increased by 0.8 percent, while lending to companies decreased by 2.5 percent in annual terms.
