Handelsbanken has completed the divestment of its Finnish operations targeting small and medium-sized enterprises in Finland, the major bank writes in a press release. The operations have been transferred to Oma Sparbank.
The operations include a lending volume of approximately 500 million euros (5.7 billion kronor), which corresponds to a risk-weighted exposure amount of approximately 170 million euros. Additionally, it includes a deposit volume of 440 million euros.
Handelsbanken's net premium will be approximately 12 million euros, according to the press release.
The news that the divestment was underway came as early as May this year.
