The Swedish Football Association has decided to begin the upcoming national team matches with a minute of silence to honor the victims of the school shooting in Örebro.
The association writes on its website.
The association also urges all associations in the country to do the same at the matches this coming weekend and to wear mourning bands.
Örebro SK will play with mourning bands in tonight's match against Kryvbas and a minute of silence will be held before the match, writes Svensk Elitfotboll (Sef) in a press release. The same will apply in connection with the weekend's training match against Jönköpings Södra, at home at Behrn Arena. Furthermore, a manifestation against violence is expected.
