The police officer has been charged with suspicion of, among other things, thefts and earlier this year lost his driver's license after driving 196 kilometers per hour on an 80-kilometer road.
Now he is being dismissed from his job, reports SVT News Värmland.
According to the personnel disciplinary board in Region Bergslagen, he is being dismissed because he "grossly neglected his duties towards the employer".
Among the criminal suspicions against the police officer are, in addition to thefts and unauthorized driving, also data intrusion, as he is suspected of having made nearly 200 unauthorized searches in the police system.
