The Olympic Games are over for the Swedish boxer Nebil Ibrahim.

Ibrahim lost with 0–5 in the second round in the 57-kilo class against the reigning world champion Abdumalik Chalokov from Uzbekistan.

Sad. The goal was a medal. But I'm satisfied with my performance. I did my best, says Nebil Ibrahim.

To be eliminated by the one who will probably take a medal... if you're going to be eliminated by anyone, it's him.

Thus, all Swedish boxers are eliminated from the Olympic Games.

When Ibrahim won in the first round against the Palestinian Wasim Abusal, it was the first Swedish Olympic victory in boxing since 2012.

Corrected: In an earlier version, incorrect figures were stated in the result.
