Halvarsson and Heijdenberg convinced during the Sweden premiere in Idre, and now they are rewarded with a spot each in the Swedish team.

"We have seen a strong drive in both our established skiers and the new ones in the A-team. It will be very exciting to follow our skiers when they now will measure themselves against the best from all other countries," says head coach Johannes Lukas in a press release.

Ivarsson missed the Sweden premiere after an appendectomy in October, but has been back in training for some time.

"We see that Anton has an upward trend and believe that he will be able to perform well in Kontiolahti", says Lukas.

Halvarsson, Heijdenberg, and Ivarsson have competed in some World Cup competitions before.

On the other hand, Emil Nykvist is missing due to foot problems, as well as Linn Gestblom, who is still rehabilitating her shoulder after the spring operation.

The World Cup premiere in Kontiolahti is on November 30-December 8.
