State of Emergency in Afghanistan as Earthquake Kills Over 800

At least 800 people have been killed and over 3,000 have been injured in an earthquake in eastern Afghanistan. Aftershocks shook the affected areas and rescue personnel are having difficulty reaching the disaster sites, where the death toll is expected to rise. At least one person has been killed or injured in each home, says Mohammad Rasooli, who himself was injured in the quake.
