In the capital Kyiv, one person was killed when Russia attacked a healthcare facility. According to the newspaper The Kyiv Independent, around 70 people were in the hospital at the time of the attack.
"Patients were forced to evacuate. There are victims," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X.
Another person, a man in his 70s, was killed in Fastiv, near Kyiv, AFP reported.
According to Ukraine's air defenses, Russia fired nine missiles and 165 attack drones at Ukraine during the night, reported the EFE news agency.
Poland closed parts of its airspace in connection with the attacks, according to the flight tracking service Flightradar 24. At 07:30 on Monday, air traffic was back on track, according to the site.
