Umeå FC is clear for Superettan next season.
This after having defeated Örebro-Syrianska with 1–0 in the last round, and thereby secured the series win in Ettan Norra.
Big hero became Lukas Vikgren, who with the only goal of the match secured the win. Umeå was pressured to win, with FC Stockholm Internazionale only two points behind before the last round. Instead, the Stockholm club has to settle for a qualifying spot to try to climb up in the league system.
Umeå thus makes a comeback in Superettan, after having been relegated from the series in the 2020 season.
It is also clear that Falkenberg is clear series winner in Ettan Södra, with one round left to play, and will keep Umeå company as newcomers next season. Lunds BK will have to qualify.
