The legendary Swedish trotter and cold-blooded stallion Järvsöfaks' 20-year-old world record on the distance 1,640 meters is beaten.
The Norwegian, cold-blooded stallion Brenne Borken crossed the finish line at Gävletravet with a time of 1.17,7 on Friday. It was two tenths faster than when Järvsöfaks, with Jan-Olov Persson in the sulky, was recorded for 1.17,9 on the same track in July 2005.
The horse was not empty of power in the finish either. I am completely speechless, says trotting trainer Øystein Tjomsland who drove Brenne Borken.
