A high-speed train collided with a truck outside Hamburg in Germany early on Wednesday morning.
One person died and around 20 people were injured, one of them seriously, according to German police. The fatality occurred among the approximately 290 people on board the train.
The accident occurred at a railway crossing. The train appears to have crashed into the truck's trailer, as its front section seems to have escaped major damage. The truck driver is being questioned by the police who are investigating the sequence of events.
