The night against Friday, the police were alerted to a break-in at Vedyxamasten, outside Uppsala. Three men in their 20s were arrested on the premises and have been detained on suspicion of offences against the Protection of Objects Act.
We apprehended the men fairly promptly, and they are now detained on suspicion of offences against the Protection of Objects Act, says Magnus Jansson Klarin, press spokesperson for the police to UNT.
He adds that it is a "serious offence" to trespass on a protected object.
Vedyxamasten is a TV mast located in Vedyxa, outside Uppsala.
