An older man was found dead in his home in Uddevalla just before 10.30 on Tuesday, the police announce.
A preliminary investigation has been initiated regarding murder or manslaughter.
The circumstances make it so that we cannot rule out that a crime has been committed, says Thomas Fuxborg, the police's press spokesperson in region west to Bohuslänningen.
The area has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
