The police were alerted to the scene at 08.54 on Tuesday morning after an accident occurred between a truck and a passenger car. The driver of the passenger car was taken to hospital with serious injuries but during Tuesday evening, the police announced that the man had died from his injuries.
An additional passenger of the same age has been treated at the hospital during the day, the extent of the injuries is unclear but the person is awake and able to speak. The police write that the truck driver is not seriously injured, however, it is not disclosed whether the person has sustained any injuries.
The cause of the accident is currently unknown but the police will investigate the matter further, all vehicles have been seized for examination.
