At 22.30 on Monday, the police received several alarms about a shooting in the Grusåsen district in Södertälje.
The information was relatively consistent that one has seen a perpetrator shooting in through a balcony and also a balcony window, says the police's press spokesperson Ola Österling.
No person was injured in connection with the shooting, but the police discovered several bullet holes in the building and could establish that shots had gone into the apartment.
Just before 02, on the night against Tuesday, the police announced that a person has been arrested.
The arrest took place in another municipality, completely undramatically in a vehicle, says Österling.
We will not comment on the age and sex of the arrested person.
The person will now be questioned. The crime scene has been cordoned off and a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons offense has been initiated.
