In addition, at least 17 people were injured in the attack, when a five-story residential building was hit by a Russian missile.
"Another wave of terrorist crimes. We need increased support to defend ourselves against Russian terror," wrote Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on X on Saturday.
In total, 18 people have been killed in Russian attacks over the weekend, according to Ukrainian authorities.
The city of Odessa on the Black Sea was also subjected to rocket fire, which has been condemned by the UN agency Unesco.
