Those responsible for the distribution are the heavily criticized US and Israel-supported Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which handles almost all food distribution in the strip. As recently as Wednesday, 25 people were killed while seeking aid, and a few days earlier 37 people.
Another eleven people have been killed on Thursday in Israeli attacks on Gaza City, where Israel has intensified its bombardment in recent days according to the civil defense.
For the fourth day in a row, the area has been the subject of a military operation, which has resulted in several killed and injured, says spokesperson Mahmud Bassal.
