Two trucks have collided and are blocking E18 Enköpingsvägen at Upplands Bro north of Stockholm.
One of the drivers was flown by ambulance helicopter to hospital with serious injuries. The other is also reported to be seriously injured and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police are investigating the accident as gross negligence in traffic and serious bodily injury.
We have begun the salvage work of the trucks, as well as a technical examination of the vehicles on site, says the police's press spokesperson Ola Österling.
The police estimate that the road will be closed until 22:00.
