San Marino takes the step up to the C division in the Nations League after winning 3–1 against Liechtenstein.
The win was the microstate's second in a competitive context and the third overall – in all cases, it's just Liechtenstein they've beaten.

They've shown their true value, as people, as athletes, as men. I cried with the guys.
San Marino, which is at the bottom of all 210 national teams in FIFA's ranking, won its group one point ahead of Gibraltar, against whom they played 1–1 on Friday.
Corrected version: In an earlier version, the wrong tournament was stated, should be Nations League. Also correcting the spelling of Liechtenstein.
