Liverpool has made a first bid for Alexander Isak – who was rejected by Newcastle, writes The Athletic. The bid is said to be around 120 million pounds, approximately 1.55 billion Swedish kronor, plus bonuses.
The Swedish attacking star has three years left on his contract and Newcastle is now said to have offered him an improved contract which would include a release clause next summer.
Despite this, Alexander Isak is not said to have changed his stance, which according to reports is that he wants to leave Newcastle.
The 25-year-old stayed home from the team's preseason tour in Asia and has been training alone at his former club Real Sociedad's facility in Spain recently.
