Frölunda secured their eighth straight win in SDHL on Sunday evening – but it was a long time coming.

The first – and only – goal of the hockey match against SDE didn't come until 38 seconds were left to play in the third period.

The 1–0 goal was scored by Frölunda star Michelle Karvinen.

It was a tough away game, but we found a way to win today, says the matchwinner to TV4.

For the home team SDE, this was their second straight loss.

I think it was a good match, but I think we had more energy today and created more chances. It's a shame we didn't get it in, and that they got a chance here at the end to do something. A bit unfair, I think, but what can you do, says Michelle Löwenhielm.

Frölunda tops the SDHL table, three points ahead of Luleå.
