Tess Olofsson becomes a regular in the men's Allsvenskan referee team from next season onwards – now she has received the award as Referee of the Year on the women's side.
"It feels like an incredible year. It started well with the final of the Nations League between Spain and France. Then I got to referee the final of the Swedish Cup on the women's side and I've also got to referee some Allsvenskan matches", she says to the Swedish Football Association's website.
Olofsson, who also refereed the Olympic Games final in Paris, has together with assistant referee Almira Spahic received trial matches in Allsvenskan.
Kristoffer Karlsson received the award on the men's side. He also received the award seven years ago.
