Leksand center Lukas Vejdemo has suffered a nasty injury. A week ago, the former NHL player was hit by a puck in the head during practice. Now the 29-year-old can't hear anything with one ear.

The puck hit badly on the ear and it rang quite well. It happens so fast that you don't have time to react. I felt directly that it was not good at all, says Vejdemo to Falu-Kuriren.

Since the injury, Vejdemo, who made national team matches for Tre Kronor last season, has not been seen on training.

I hear nothing at all on one ear. Sometimes it heals by itself, other times an operation is required. As I understand it, it's nothing you need to do directly, but you can wait with the operation.

Vejdemo has previously played for, among others, Djurgården, Montréal and Södertälje.
