Last year Torleif Syrstad won Vasaloppet. On Friday the 31-year-old Norwegian long distance star was about to be knocked down by an otter.
Syrstad was in solo lead in the 53 kilometer long roller skiing competition during the annual summer event Toppidrettsveka when the little otter chose to cross the road.
The experienced Syrstad however managed to parry the moving obstacle and kept himself on his legs.
