This means that he is seven strokes behind Tommy Fleetwood, England, and Russel Henley, USA, who are leading on 13 strokes under par.

Åberg got a good start to the second round, which is played at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

He made birdie on the first, fourth and sixth holes. This was followed up with bogey on holes ten, twelve and 14. An improvement towards the end meant birdie on holes 16 and 18, which made him complete the round on 68 strokes and two under par.

I like, objectively, how I swing, move and how the ball comes out. It makes me positive and happy. Hopefully, I can get a low round on Saturday or Sunday, says Åberg to Eurosport.

Unlike previous years, the PGA ranking – where Åberg is in 14th place – will not affect the result of the tour final. All players start on par, and the one who plays the best during the four rounds of the competition wins.

In addition to the honor, the winner takes home ten million dollars, which corresponds to approximately 96 million kronor.
