During Sunday's final round in the men's premier league, the police confiscated a total of 69 explosive objects and filed reports for multiple crimes, including incitement against an ethnic group, drug offenses, and vandalism, according to DN.
In addition to the reports, one person was arrested, and the police had to intervene on 13 separate occasions.
Furthermore, Sunday's match between Djurgården and IFK Norrköping was interrupted after several away fans threw fireworks onto the pitch. This was condemned by the Östergötland club on Monday.
"It's not just a breach of rules, but also unacceptable to expose the audience, players, and others to the risks involved in igniting and throwing fireworks", writes IFK Norrköping on their website.
Earlier, the match between AIK and Halmstad had been postponed due to the ignition of pyrotechnic devices at the arena.
