Jesper Bratt was most involved with his three points when New Jersey defeated Montreal with 5–3.

Our entire line was in a good mood, we had good speed and played creatively and created a lot, says Bratt to Aftonbladet.

The entire team played a good game. It's strong of us to come home and play like this and take an important win in front of our fans after a long road trip.

Bratt initiated the goal scoring when Jack Hughes served him a pass at the goalie's far post. He later finished with a puck in an empty net with less than a minute left when Montreal had caught up to 3–4, pulled out the goalie and were pushing for a tie.

New Jersey goalie Jacob Markström stopped 21 shots.

Bratt is in 14th place in the scoring league after five goals and 13 assists in 16 matches. The next best Swede is Williams Nylander with 15 points (10+5).
