In total, 22 cases of hepatitis A linked to a restaurant in Oslo have been discovered in Norway, according to the Norwegian public health authority FHI.
Twelve of them have been confirmed while the others have a "probable connection" to the outbreak, writes FHI in a press release according to Norwegian media.
Guests who have eaten at the restaurant in question, Frognerseteren at Holmenkollen, over the past two weeks are now being offered hepatitis A vaccination as a precaution.
"There have been many visitors to Frognerseteren during the period in question and we see that the outbreak has branches to several parts of the country", says Siri Feruglio, chief physician and department head at FHI.
