Customs officials in the border town of Edirne in Turkey have stopped dozens of exotic animals from being smuggled out of the country to Greece, reports the Turkish news agency Anatolia.
The stopped car, with Greek license plates, was transporting three kangaroos, three alpacas, and a mara in the trunk.
Inside the vehicle, 12 parrots and 23 flying squirrels were found.
All the animals survived and will be handed over to Turkey's nature conservation authority.
