The Russian Defense Ministry reports that the robots were directed at military facilities and an airfield in the Kursk region on Saturday and Monday. Some material damage is said to have occurred.
It is the USA that supplies Ukraine with Atacms, an advanced weapon with a relatively long range. Previously, the deliveries were said to have been made with the condition that the robots are only allowed to be used for pure defense against Russia's war of aggression, not for attacks deep into enemy territory.
But last week, the USA eased those requirements. This in turn sparked angry reactions from the Russian regime, which called it an escalation of the conflict.
