The world's second-largest beer producer, Dutch Heineken, reports an increased operating profit for 2024 of a total of 4.51 billion euros.
Primarily, the increase is noticeable on the North American market, where the result exceeded market expectations. The total beer production simultaneously increased by 1.6 percent after a weak 2023, when the company instead reported a clear decline.
The company expects revenue growth for 2025, despite economic challenges in the form of, among other things, a weak consumer trend, primarily in Europe.
