Two fighter pilots have been killed in a crash during a training flight in central Turkey, according to the country's defense ministry.
Pictures in Turkish media show how black smoke rises from a burnt, heavily damaged aircraft wreck on a field. Firefighters, police, and other rescue personnel are on the scene, writes the state news agency Anadalu.
The plane took off from a military base in Kayseri and crashed shortly afterwards. What caused the accident is not known, according to the defense ministry.
