I tensed the bow today, it's a bit of a shame about the stand, but I think I'm doing many good things today, I dare to go for it. I might have gotten a bit tired at the end, but if I hadn't had 300 meters extra in my legs, I think I could have made a good final lap too, says Hanna Öberg in SVT.
The winner instead was Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, who shot fully. The victory comes after a tough season for the Norwegian, with heart problems and weak results.
I just decided that, we're in Nove Mesto which has an incredible audience, and that I must enjoy myself. I've been careful with my heart, afraid of failure, now I just focused on having fun. This feels like my first victory, says Landmark Tandrevold.
Misses the Pursuit
Behind Tandrevold followed two Frenchwomen in the top three – Justine Braisaz-Bouchet and Julia Simon.
The next best Swedish competitor was Sara Andersson in 22nd place.
Ella Halvarsson, who has recently been ill, did not make it to the top 60 and misses tomorrow's pursuit.
On the other hand, Anna Magnusson (37th), Johanna Skottheim (38th), and Anna-Karin Heijdenberg (59th) will get to compete in Saturday's competition.
Elvira Öberg is skipping all World Cup competitions in Nove Mesto due to illness.
