Elfsborg swimmer, just turned 20, was actually selected for the Universiade, but her strong swims at the Swedish Championship a month ago made her selected for the World Championship instead.
Häll has had a strong season with the Swedish record on 1,500 meters at the Swedish Championship as the highlight.
Then she beat Gabriella Fagundez's 18-year-old Swedish record.
In the World Championship, she has swum 400, 800 and 1,500 meters freestyle and it went best on the shortest distance where she was only nine hundredths over her personal record.
I'm glad and happy to get out of here with a good 400 meters, she says.
On 800 meters freestyle, she was noted for 8.52,60, just over eight seconds above her personal best.
She takes with her a lot from her first long course World Championship.
A lot is about doing your own race, it's the key to being able to swim fast. Then I take with me that I got to compete against fast girls and the whole experience of the World Championship, says Häll who trains together with Victor Johansson in Jönköping and with Niko Martikainen as coach.
The lessons are just about focusing on yourself. There are no problems at home where she often is superior.
It's of course a big difference. When you come out to a championship like this, it's hard to just focus on yourself. So it's a big lesson.
