Six biathletes fell ill during the Christmas break and are uncertain about their form for this week's competitions in Oberhof. But no one is worried considering that the World Championship is a month away.
Hanna Öberg back – racing in Oberhof
Hanna Öberg is back in the biathlon national team that competes in the World Cup in Oberhof this week. "Some active athletes have been ill during Christmas and had to adjust their training, but now all selected skiers are healthy and ready for the year's first competitions," says the national team's head coach Johannes Lukas in a press release.
Skottheim replaces Öberg in the biathlon team
Johanna Skottheim will replace Hanna Öberg in the national biathlon team's squad for the World Championship competitions in French Annecy-Le Grand Bornand. Öberg was ill before the season start and has since struggled to find her form.
