One miss in the first - and four in the second. With a total of seven missed shots, Anna-Karin Heijdenberg finished 58th in the short-distance 12.5 km race.
A result the 25-year-old absolutely did not want.
The World Cup in Nove Mesto is about more than points - an Olympic spot is at stake.
"It was really hard. I had a shot that clicked in the first leg too," Heijdenberg tells SVT.
"It's really windy when I come in and I can already tell it's going to be difficult. When I missed the first shot, I was just thinking about the Olympics. That didn't make it any easier."
"Busy week"
After the start of the slalom, more misses followed. Misses that Heijdenberg had a hard time recovering from. She was most disappointed, however, that she didn't take her chance.
"It's been a tough week and shooting is very mental. It was difficult today."
Johanna Skottheim, who is also chasing an Olympic ticket, had four errors and finished 37th.
"I'm not happy with my performance. It's going slowly for me and it's hard that I can't get everything right," she tells SVT.
The 31-year-old also says it is exhausting to be among those fighting for the last spot at the Winter Games in Italy next month.
"You try to shake it off, but it's there all the time. It's a long struggle."
Magnusson fourth
Justine Braisaz-Bouchet of France won ahead of compatriot Lou Jeanmonnot.
Anna Magnusson, already Olympic-qualified, came fourth and was 1:06.8 behind Braisaz-Bouchet.
The World Cup in the Czech Republic continues with relays on Saturday and mass starts on Sunday.
Hanna Öberg, Elvira Öberg, Linn Gestblom and Ella Halvarsson are not at the event and have chosen high-altitude training in Livigno, Italy, instead - all to maximise their preparation for the Olympics in Italy next month.
