Biathlon star Elvira Öberg will miss the World Cup premiere in Östersund. She has a cold and is therefore left out of the Swedish relay team.

Of course it's really sad to miss the relays this weekend, but at the same time I'm happy that I won't miss any individual competitions, says Öberg.

On Saturday, the World Cup season starts and in the women's relay, Sweden will field Johanna Skottheim, Anna Magnusson, Ella Halvarsson and Hanna Öberg.

Big star Elvira Öberg – who was there when Sweden won the relay premiere last year – says she has been "a little hungover for a few days" and is therefore choosing to skip this weekend's race.

I've been a little too unwell to train, but I've rested for three days now and hopefully it's better now, she says.

In the men's relay, Sweden will field Viktor Brandt, Jesper Nelin, Martin Ponsiluoma and Sebastian Samuelsson.

The women's relay starts at 1:15 p.m. and the men's race at 4:55 p.m.

On Sunday, the single mixed relay and mixed relay will be held. Sweden's team will not be selected until Saturday. The first individual race will be decided on Tuesday.
