As expected, it did not result in a top finish. Sweden finished in twelfth place after Lind and Sjökvist had to use eight extra shots in total.
Germany won, ahead of Finland and France. Sweden was 2.17 minutes behind Germany.
Several Swedish Olympic biathletes are competing in Nove Mesto, the last World Cup week before the Olympics.
Later this afternoon, a mixed relay will be held with Olympic ticket-chasing Johanna Skottheim and Anna-Karin Heijdenberg, together with already Olympic-qualified Viktor Brandt and Malte Stefansson.
