The announcement comes after a period of speculation about whether the 27-year-old Dutchman, who has won the drivers' World Championship four years in a row, would leave Red Bull for Mercedes ahead of next year's F1 season.
It has always been clear to me that I will stay here at Red Bull, says Verstappen at a press conference ahead of Sunday's race at Hungaroring outside Budapest.
Verstappen is third in the World Championship standings after 13 out of 24 races with 185 scored points. He is 65 points behind the Briton Lando Norris and 81 points behind the Australian Oscar Piastri, who both drive for Mercedes.
According to The Athletic Verstappen has a contract with Red Bull until 2028.
